Cold air is denser that out air; cold air = more power. You wont notice it at first though, the motor needs to warm up and you need to driv it around awhile. Second, from Honda the intake and engine were built with eachother in mind. The intake box was built with a volume that matches the stock motors cubic inch. Taking the lid off throws all that out of wac (air fuel, Etc...). Thats why you lost power. If you were to get an after market cold air intake, they are built with that volume in mind (open filter but bigger and or longer tubing). It does sound cool though! VVVVRRRRRRUUUUUUUPPP!!!!

i dont mind being wrong, i just figured by logic, making warm air go into my nitro rc made it boost just right, was always idling perfect and getting max torque when the intake was stuck to the pipe
i went with my logic, sorry
yet i didnt start insulting and making fun of anyone which i find the only sh1tty part with you guys, cause theres always someone that has to burn

Now burgh will make a gay comment or something...

and some of you retards take serious pleasure in watching others do mistakes

what happenned to the ... no youre wrong because of, hey the guys pulled like 4 graphs out of his a$$ now i respect that as hell, he took the time to prove his point not just bah you wallfu.cker!

bet some of you do this **** in stores, you wait for the clerk to f.uck up just to make him feel bad and show your better than him.

yeah dude? I had buddies back in the day that would tune their scooters like nuts, okay
this time came around they took off the air intake and with lock tight and steel straps installed Hair driers over the intake, on cold the fokken scooter would lag as hell, on hOT the tank would Empty so fast as HE would FLY AWAY on boost (it was plugged in parralel on a larger battery), accelerating like 3-4 times as fast as he would STOCK (even though it had the extra weight of a car battery)
and they had polished engines (inside) and sanded down pistons (for more gas)
explain please, i'D like to understand

cause you have it all down so well to burn me down and make fun of me, but explain that to me cause i would REALLY REALLY love to understand

usually with an aftermarket cold air system, theres a wall that seperates the filter from the rest of the bay, and it usually seals with the hood when closed. takin off the lid prolly caused more hot air to be suck through

the power loss is because its sucking in hot air with the lid off. and i think ur rc engine works the same as anyother engine the colder the air the better it will run.

ahh and no neeed to put a gay coment lol u knew it was gunna come but

no i wont

its weird, i know the box i see the box, ive removed boxes, and put intakes, now by logic again, when you take off the Box and put a tube with intake, the intake doesent cut the hot air, so you get more right so it should create a lag?

hey Big D how come there are so many uncool people on this fokken site?
that cant discuss something normally

i asked, you answered the best you could, and its appreciated
unlike sum fux here.
