You first have to determine what you want from your scooby, drag car?, auto-x?, rally?, track day *****?

Suspension mods will give you more bang for the buck, but the first thing I tell everyone to get is good summer tires and dedicated snow tires. Power and handling mods don't mean **** if you can't put it to the pavement. I run Azenis and Nokian Hakka's.

intake silencer delete/ k&n drop in filter
TBE/header up-pipe
UTEC tuned to 17psi
Fuel Pump
Injectors/rails
FMIC

id recommend a larger turbo, maybe an STi turbo or other after market turbo, ur stock turbo will be almost maxed out and not last long...

the utec comes w/ an auxilary boost controller (ABC), this way u can switch between maps, (there r 9 maps)...
as long as u have the supporting mods for 17psi u can get a pre-flash utec.
once u go to a bigger turbo u can run around 19-21psi safely.

and u cant compare a subaru w/ honda.

ok one more question..im a big subie fan..but i dont know much about their capabilities...is 350 AWHP a good goal...this is ganna be a true daily driver...and in the winter..im not looking for a show car drag car track car or anything..just a good looking fast well handling car that can do anything decent be it drag or track or street ( im not into shows at all) is 350 AWHP to much for a daily driven WRX?

What kind of "racing" do you plan on? If it's anything with turns your money would be better spent on racing schools and suspension mods.

the first mod i would do is the exhaust or a good type of engine management ( Cobb A.P., Cobb S.T., UTEC etc.), then ofter these two i would get the turbo w/ injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump and FMIC. i have a '03 suby w/ tbe, tb, sti inj., walbro 255 lph fp, vf-34 turbo, with a cobb a.p. for e.m. with boost set at 17.5 psi. roughly 315 hp 295 ft lb w/o the tb.
