well theres a large varitey of BOV that are good, theres...
1.Greddy type S 2.Hks SSQ 3.Turbo XS type S and 4 Blitz R2D2 my recomendation... HKS or Greddy. Esspecily for your boxer turbo, your enjoy it. as for the turbo timer, the HKS is the most used, but a turbo timer from Blitz or Greddy is just as good but bigger, the HKs is small and compact witch makes it a good for mouintg in different places. hope i helped :thumb:

Blitz is pretty decent but be careful they screw up occasionally.

what r ur plans, the BEST BOV is ur STOCK one, no other bov will perform like stock up to 20psi anymore than 20psi or bigger mods (turbo,Intercooler) then get a Tial...
and if u must have a TT, get an alarm w/ it build in, u really dont need one if ur not running an aftermarket turbo, ur stock turbo is oil cooled btw, put ur money where its worth ur dollar, (down pipe, suspension mods), ur car will run better w/ stock intake and bov... ive owned subarus for the last 12 yrs, everyone of them made it past 300K, my STi would do the same if i keep long enough,
keep ur stock bov, if u want to go intake to hear the bov go w/ a Perrin Short Ram, Full TBE, a fuel pump, and utec w a tune to 17-18psi, i cant explain how happy ull will be w/ just those mods... Last edited by mv420xx; 12 Oct 2005 at 10:29 am. |

18psi on a scooby and the engine will laugh at u, i ran a stealth back exhaust no cats w a Genome Axle back at 20 psi.
DP 4" test-pipe / mid-pipe 3" my muffler was 2.5" that set up creates just the right amount of back pressure and ur car will be a beast (spool up) yet tame when u need to be... if u go 3" all the way back ur turbo will spool slower thats y i did it this set up, i had ABSOLUTLY NO turbo lag... |

ok well could i run that setup on my 2003 WRX...because my new one ( 2006) has a 2.5L rather than the EJ20...so will that setup respond to the 2.5 or the 2.0 better???
also....how much HP did that back preasure and 20PSI get you???
