I am looking for information on an engine swap (302) on a 1998 Ranger. Right now it's a 2.5L 5-speed. Just not fast enough. I was thinking of getting a Fox body, but everybody has 'em. I wanted something different, and not many people have a 5.0 Ranger... Any help would be great!

Thanks this has helped alot. Right now, I am trying to save up to do this project. If anyone would like to sponsor this conversion, I'll put your name on the damn truck (Company or personal). I'm just jokin' but if anyone really would like to... It would help a young man complete one of his dreams. Thanks again. worship

good luck on the install, im helpin a buddy this winter drop a built 351 in his 95 ranger.

Hey, thanks guys. I'm not sure as of the date as to when I will be doing the swap, I guess whenever I save enough money. And good luck to you and your friend on his conversion. Thanks again.
