ok what would be the best and reletively inexpencive way to boost the horse power on a 93 celica(not gt) and don't say "NOS!!!" cuz thats just ghei
I figure to just skip all the little intakes and rice things and get a new engine but 1 I don't know much about celicas and 2 don't know waht engines can swap into a 93 model plus I have never herd of anyone doing that. so if any one has any good advice I would be glad to hear it and if I'm stupid for even trying well.....what ever thanks. one love. |

Some of the cheapest and most effective things are actually an intake, new exhaust, and a racing chip, which aren't really ricer things. My friend has a black 93 celica GT, he put a Weapon R dragon intake on it and it makes a HUGE difference. Check ebay or nopi for cheap parts. A new engine would cost a hell of a lot more. :thumb:

the best engine for a celica would probably be the 2.0 turbo engine from the All-Trac Turbo model which has 200bhp,(might be hard to find a cheap used one in good cond. though) or you could swap in the 2.2 from the Gt coupe which has around 135 bhp and get a turbo setup, which would cost a considerable amount more $$$. it's probabaly cheapest and easiest to just stick with the engine you have and mod that one, if you have enough money you could get a turbo for it too. Don't have any prices though. Hope this was some help.
