the type S "was" the latest and most used in the geddy BO line. the RS is the newest and it has new feutures the S does not have such as a recirlation hose. Mostly used in newer vehicles and euros, it puts the charged air back into the einge and so on. I dno if that helps..but thas al i know ^_^

heres a link to a site that has them http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/blowoffvalve.html

i have a question if you run a recirculation hose back into the intake where does it input to? since its already mixed with fuel? and if it vents to atmosphere would it just hurt your gas milage since ur just wasting that fuel? and if thats true would a recirculating hose save gas?
Ahhhhhhhh too many questions i know

im not sure but i dont think the air is mixed with fuel when its at the bov. and when it is reciruclated it just goes back into the cold pipe..

Uh, yea... the air should not be mixed at that point. A recirculation valve will usually dump back in as close to the turbo as possible. The reason for this is that it helps to keep the turbo spooled during shifts. Another reason that some cars use recirc. is that they use MAF (mass air flow) sensor setups which meter the air directly after the air filter (dms's for one as well as many others) and thus when you vent the blow off valve you're venting metered air which the computer will be adding fuel for, thus causing a momentary surge in air/fuel mixture in the rich direction, which can cause bogging. Just thought I'd clear that up.

ok thank you for clearing that up. i don't know why i thought that the turbo compressed mixed air. i must have read something wrong somewhere. thats kewl. and what about gas milage? if you don't spool the turbo does it hurt ur gas milage, like driving around town, and highway?
