Default 85' MR2 NA or ?

hello everyone, i'm a proud owner of a 1985 MR2 NA. i wanted to know what should i do with my power plant? personally, i want to keep it NA and just add all the little goodies that i can slap on my 4AGE. I wanted to find a supercharger that would work with my 4AGE,but come out short.

if your saying duh! why don't you just go for the 4AG(Z)E . ANSWER:here in L.A. the swap goes for 3-4k or more,talk about inflation.YOU ROLLA OWNERS AREN'T A BIG HELP! HAHAHA.I'm not knocking on you guys and gURLs,i hope to be one sooner or later(preferably sooner).one project at a time.

So, i'm asking for my community (THATS YOU!) to share some of their ideas. write down anYthing from products to use or which route to take insted of NA. THANKS ALOT. oH!!!! MR2 OWNERS .

what about a 20 valve 4age? they run cheap on ebay.

i have a buddy that has three corolla's with that engine
1 is twin-charged S/C and turbo 205 rwhp
2 is turbo about 220+ rwhp
3 N/A tuned about 110 rwhp

you decide what works best for your application

what did he do to make it turbo and S/C? both very considerable.get back to me thanks.

your right, i could get a good price. the only problem is the engine harnest and wire harnest. if the motor would work well with the mr2 tranny. over all how would it work? how much power can i pump out of that engine? i should of thought of that engine myself . get back to me thanks.

p.s very good tip by the way.

85 mr2? Thats the best year for mk1's :thumpup:

if you dont want to do much work(ie extreme fabrications and costom mounts) then I would vote for a 4agze and work from there.
At least thats what I am looking to do in the distant future if I dont end up selling my car off to some kid to wrap around a tree. 4agze, then turbocharge it...

3sgte would also be a really really really cool swap in an mrk2(mk1.5 i believe is the little nickname for that). Allot of work but man.. after seeing a few video's of deno's car I am convinced it is MORE then worth it.
