I seen one of these at formula d a few years back. It had as sr22det making over 400hp.
If 210hp fucus engine can do that imagine what 400hp will do.

The vid said something about a ford focus engine. Over here that would be a 2.0 liter zetec. same displacement as a sr20.

Ahaha man, if that guy thinks thats a bone jarring ride he needs to drive a kart.

If you loaded an R400 with 400hp, the tires at the back would really struggle to put the power down.

250-320bhp is realistically all this car would ever need.

If you want 400hp in one of these things forget the SR, get a Hartley V8.

The whole engine weighs 200lbs, and look at in in terms of size next to a Miata 4cylinder...

Yeah man, it's only for ballers.

I'd definitely do it if I was going to buy a Caterham. For the track it would be a monster if you tuned it correctly.

It would be tempting though to do a Zcar Mini though, I think it's even lighter than the caterham.

lol then a fully lightend/balanced race engine.with dry sump ect? fookin lol.not to mention the torque and high hp the engine will have.making it shit at handling.there is a reason these cars arent over 300 hp...400hp and 700kg wont really work.unless you like spinning it all the time. or gay straight lining 1/4mile...
