Sl 58 Brabus????

ok, so i wake up and hear the loudest noise out of my window, and having already heard an SLR before on regents street london,when the F1 cars came, i was positive it was an SLR, or if not a motorbike with a very loud exhaust, but i didnt get to see it as it was already gone........then i saw a strange sight, an sl58 brabus, just cruising around during the day, but no loud engine, so didnt give it a second thought. But later that evening i was walking down baker street when i heard a blast of the loudest engine ever, and saw this black monster, the SL58 from before, matched the sound i heard earlier, i tell you what a sight and experience, blasting down baker street, maxing out the revs............was it a ghost, or does this beast actually exist????

not as such...brabus, carlsson, kleeman are not a strategic business unit (SBU) of mercedes...i.e, they are not owned by mercedes...they are their own business that modify mercedes cars.

these days lexus to toyota is like mercedes to daimler chrysler...although chrysler bought meredes, toyota created lexus in an attempt to attract a higher income target market i.e. people with a higher disposable income.

lexus is an SBU of toyota, mercedes is an SBU of Daimler chrysler, it serves the same purpose of attracting wealthier people.

your post is not contradicting anything i have said, its only additional information, so by saying 'um no' serves no purpose in your post...im not sure if you have read it right so ill spread this out to try and simplify it for you.

-lexus is a rebadged car that is OWNED and CREATED by toyota...
-BUT, brabus is NOT OWNED and is NOT CREATED by mercedes ...

so going by what you have informed me about, and what i have written...

-BRABUS is a tuning company for mercedes
-STARTECH is a tuning company for chrysler

and from what i know for sure, and what i have already written...

-MERCEDES is owned by CHRYSLER
-LEXUS is owned by TOYOTA
(chrysler and toyota being two different entities)

both brabus and startech have no direct connection to chrysler...

and my previous post is contrary to the statement 70chevelles has written in his/her post, and ill reword it so you can understand clearly:

-BRABUS is NOT owned by MERCEDES
-LEXUS IS owned by TOYOTA

-BRABUS is NOT made off a production line
-LEXUS IS made off a production line

Lexus is just a more prestige part of toyota, brabus is a tuning company, and stop swearing cos its rude

mercedes has tuners, AMG, KArlsson, Kleeman, brabus (brabus having a larger association with SMArt), Renntech, Landaulet, Lorinser, Koenig also do stuff for benz and Stillen,and im missing a couple for sure... although AMg is directly part of the company
Lexus is toyota (check lexus well, they follow mercedes, but japanese style)
Acura is Honda
infinity is Nissan
best thing to see Toyota ALtezza, and Lexus iS300
except for the logo in front, its the same.
