Non removable spyware, help!!!!

I have This ad ware installed in my computer, I get a lot of pop ups every minunte, i have ran norton antivirus as well as ad-aware SE, but it can't remove them, it tells me the path and i try removing them manually but it's impossible, please if you know of a program that will remove them give me the link or at least a good pop up blocker

shit ive got the same thing on my lap top it gives pop ups and puts ads as destop icons its weird. there like find a date online, and free pop up software and stuff like that.

Tell ya what, Norton ain't gonna do shit!! I had Norton before, and it couldn't get all of the spyware off of my computer either. I switched to McAfee VirusScan and it was able to get rid of it. Most of them enter your computer as Trojan viruses (or is it virii?) via attachments from downloading and stuff like that. Try a different anti-virus prog like McAfee and try AntiSpyware (link is above in Tremek's post) as an anti-spyware/pop up blocker.

can someone please advise me on this? what happens is when i start my lap top and click on the internet it gets a bunch of these pop ups that say files on them and stuff and then a bunch on destop icons get added. its weird someone tell me what to do!! HELP

With ad-aware, you can use spybot search and destroy and Stinger (47 trojans and virus) from MacAfee.

Boot up in safe mode and the run all that stuff, to get to safe mode in XP or 2000, right when the white bar comes acroos the screen at the bottom hit F8 selct OS and select safe mode, this is the way to go. Safe mode only loads the bare minimum drivers and software so most of that stuff will not load into memory and can be removed.

this is what i do unplug internet from your pc run the spy ware removers and del them usally if they can get to the internet they cant run if they cant run...well its just like taking headers and pistons off a car. thats what i do and i find it works well.

thx this is sure the way to go, but i've done this like 3 times, and there's still some left and they all come back

Also, when you reconnect to the internet, make sure your fire wall is up.

Helps prevent them getting back in. I use Sygate because my router's firewall sucks.

And stop use internet explorer, you should use firefox

If it keeps coming back, download HiJackThis!
This program will create a log of suspect registry entries, an dyou can go through and delete the bad one, if you do not know what you are delteing you can mess up the machine. It will allow you to create a log file, if you are not comfortable with this PM me a copy of the log file and I can help you identify things to delete because it will also show legitimate entries, let me know if I can help

ok heres the deal: when i start my computer these pop ups keep on commin and destop icons get added like: find a date online, rate my body, get free mp3 player, shit like that.... so i toook the advice above and ran spybot and found 31 species of spyware!!!!!! 5 are non fixable....??>?> I ran spybot 5 times and the same file kept commin up with fix entrys and i cant get rid of it. I did this all when the internet was off also.

Ive really got to figure this out cause i did this on my dads laptop..... hes probably gunna cut off my balls if i dont fix this.

i had my friend look at it and she defragged the hardrive, and ran spybot and immuned the system and it did nothing she said "U **** this up hardcore"!
HELP ME!
