ok tokyo pop has been doing there re makes of initial d there all in english with different music (rap) and different names that are kind of stupid Itsuki =(cole) stuff like that. anyway i have the first 4 dvds which consist of the first 12 epidsodes of the first stage. there pretty cool but lots of people that are fans of the real D HATE the tokyo pop version. i was just wondering if anywon here has seen some of these and has any opinion of the rest (i belive there are 8) tokyopop dvd's.

But yea.. I honestly can't say i've seen any of the nglish ones! If I could help ya out bro, I would. But im kinda at a loss here not ever of seeing them that is.

haven't seen any but one episode of Tokyo pop and when they call him "Tak" I didn't watch anymore, sorry.

tokyo pop shit is whaack!!! period....they change not only the names but also the original lines of the story...

yehp I agree...they call Takumi Tak and make the characters say "yo wuddup?". And they dont even have the guy in Benz. Tokyo p00p is retarded. The subbed versions are better.

yea some of the rap is cool but the things that they (especially "iggy") say are stupid. like bonehead and stupid shit like that they talk like kids.
