For several weeks now, I have been seeing this new dodge challenger ( orange w/ black side stripes) rolling through the small town that I live outside of. The younger guy that drives it has thrown me revs on two seperate occasions when I was going in the opposite direction ( tool ).
Well......lol....Last night, the wife said she needed a few things from walgreens and I said I would go to walgreens for her. It was great weather outside, mid 60's, low humidity, nice and cool.....so I drove the Camaro. I come out of walgreens and low and behold the rev happy challenger srt8 that has been annoying me is sitting at the gas station across the street. I fired up the Camaro, and sat and waited for him to leave. He made the turn towards the HWY heading out of town. I didn't really want him to see me following so I stayed back a little ways so that he wouldn't punk out and turn off away from the HWY. Once on the HWY I pull along side of him and he is not looking over, so I drop it to nuetral and rev him up a bit....he looks over and shakes his head in that kinda "you aint worth the time look".....so I point forward and he AGREES !!!! We slowed down and kept slowwing down and kept slowing down...damn does this guy want a dig on the HWY??? Nope, we ended up going from a 20 mph roll ( his choice ) which was a dumb move for him since I have the 4.10's and MT ET streets on the car. We go on his 3rd honk and it was lights out: 1st, 2nd, 3rd....then I let out, looked in the rear view mirror and had an easy 8 car lengths on his ass...lol Then he wants to try again, from a higher roll ( again his choice ) 45mph......me in 2nd gear start this time.....went on his 3rd beep again, this time I went all out and ran my car untill the top of 5th gear....he was so far back it wasn't funny 12+ car lengths easy....needless to say, he punked out and wouldn't pull up to me again. I snapped a u-turn and went home happy and laughing. Next time I see him rolling through town I will just smile and give him a thumbs down...lol
