we have a local guy here w/ a carbed 414ci Aluminum LSX block. Solid roller cam and LS7 heads. All n/a and it made 645rwhp and 590 rwtq....a carbed LSX is the way to go IMO. cheaper too.

I read that you can actually get a bump in power by switching to a carb setup. Heres something I found.
New Carb LS1 setup made 40 hp over LS6 - LS1TECH Too bad the carb and lil timing control box is like $800 ![]()
