Default GM Build Your Own Motor

Kind of interesting. Allows you to try different blocks and components. Carbed LSX ftw

we have a local guy here w/ a carbed 414ci Aluminum LSX block. Solid roller cam and LS7 heads. All n/a and it made 645rwhp and 590 rwtq....a carbed LSX is the way to go IMO. cheaper too.

I read that you can actually get a bump in power by switching to a carb setup. Heres something I found.
New Carb LS1 setup made 40 hp over LS6 - LS1TECH

Too bad the carb and lil timing control box is like $800

That aint really a bad price considering a F.A.S.T. 90mm intake is $799 and a F.A.S.T. 90mm throttle body is $449, that is $1250 for that combo vs $800 for the carbbed one.
