im bored and its gonna happen sooner or later, just as believed, ill probaly get rid of bronco soon, and get another car, since friday night drags are starting up, and $20 in gas in bronco gets me to school and back twice barely (and i only live 3 miles away) but im looking at a bunch of different cars, if i dont end up with a mustang of some sort, what else should i look at, im looking for something cheap or i can trade for, and OLLLDDDD. nothing new,it aint got to be a race car, or something im gonna race alot, it can be just a cool cruising car, like a 70 torino i was looking at with just a 302, what are some cars i should check out, ive looked at about everything, but i check quite often on craigslist, just post up what yall think

I dont understand how you can go on a tirade about the crappy mileage your bronco gets and then ask us to suggest an old American V8 replacement for it.
Make up your mind. Do you want MPG or power? You cant have both in an old american car. If you want both, get a new European 4 door V8 or a tesla roadster.

I say stick w/ a lightly modded 5.0L stang and just weight reduce that sucker. The 5.0L is affordable, cheap parts, easy to make fast and it fits your wants. It's your chicken, f*ck it how ever you want to. LOL
5.0L stang in good running condition w/ Intake, throttle body, headers, x pipe, catback and 3.73's will run low 13's all day long or faster if you take some weight out and use a DR tire.

i never planned on keeping the bronco long, just something to have a little fun with till summer or thru summer, the stang i had wasnt in greatest of conditions, engine and drivetrain was nice, but interior/exterior left something to be desired, i was planning on getting another stang, but im just considering alternatives, just seeing if i can find a good deal on something else i havent searched for yet. 5.0s get descent mileage, but mine was carbuerated so it sucked without a good tuning. i want a fuel injected 5.0
