Thats actually a really good idea..I had a 91 pickup with the 22RE and a 5spd, with 32s, and still got 20+ MPG all the time

if i can sell the bronco soon, im thinking bout buying this ranger for $1000, its got 6" superlift kit with 35" tires, and 4.56 gears front/rear, it would be a fun little beater truck, then i would still have 1000-1500 left to spend/buy DD/help me out till i get a good job.





ive got a few offers on trades, and ive been talking to a guy with a 1985 mustang gt t-top, 302 underdrive pulleys, basically stock but its an auto, he may be interested in a straight trade...

my friends got a same year stock ranger with the 4.0 he gets like 15-20, the ranger posted says it gets 13, so its probaly anywhere from 11-15, which is ALOT better than i am getting, and i consider over 10mpg BALLLLIN, haha most of my friends average 12 and thats on 6 cylinders... but with the money left id definately change the gearing probaly, someting a little less steep
