The Cobra week think was just making conversation, not correcting you on something.
As for the gears, yes I'm sure. I tried finding a link to show ya when I posted that, but I was late to return back to work. I'll do some more searching. Was the Fox modded? They're nothing special stock, about the same as our cars stock. High to mid 14s, a little bit less horsepower, but less weight as well. It's how easy they are to make fast that gives them their reputation.

Gears 3.55 or 3.73 - The Mustang Message Board
This guy is asking about a 98 Cobra, which has the same rear end we do. It's 3.27s btw, not 3.23. I couldn't remember if it was 3.23 or 3.27, so I said 3.23. Not any difference. I'll try and find more links.
