As for that KB Cobra wreck, it has happened another time at that EXACT same spot. Member of another forum I'm on was the first guy to wreck. There's a couple people who get pissy if you even mention it over there.

I guess a lot of people attribute it to the recall Ford had for the 03/04 Cobras where there was a problem with the gas pedal getting stuck under the floor mat at WOT. Instead of just moving the floor mat back or cutting it, there was a whole process to fix it including installing a new throttle bracket and what not.

Buddy, it was a joke, there are so many mustangs out there. It is not a item of chance but an item of when, you will catch someone do something stupid with em. It was just a joke, because talon was egging me on to do drifting in the ice with my new gears. So, I replied (jokingly) that I don't want to become a statistic.

Are you sure they are 3.??. My 1st gear use to go up to around 40-45 miles an hour. But w/e.

Oh, and I stopped the mustang is almighty when I got beat by a naturally aspirated civic, which beat a foxbody 5.0 from a dig.

As for the gears, yes I'm sure. I tried finding a link to show ya when I posted that, but I was late to return back to work. I'll do some more searching.

Was the Fox modded? They're nothing special stock, about the same as our cars stock. High to mid 14s, a little bit less horsepower, but less weight as well. It's how easy they are to make fast that gives them their reputation.

I'd go check my door for the letter code to see what gears I have (either have 2.73 or 3.08) M=2.73, Z=3.08. But, my car is at the shop.

Exactly. I have encountered so many people who bought them and thought they were going to be the fastest shit around only to be very disappointed.

This guy is asking about a 98 Cobra, which has the same rear end we do. It's 3.27s btw, not 3.23. I couldn't remember if it was 3.23 or 3.27, so I said 3.23. Not any difference.
