I would recommend against it, if you want luxury, buy a cadillac seville, and it would probably be a lot faster than the audi. If you're selling an mgb, I'd say buy a miata, there's a big aftermarket and from what I've read it's a pretty authentic roadster.

from a caddilac owner, dont get a caddy 'cause it's luxury AND faster than the audi'.
First off, the audi may not be as comfy/fluffy/gadgety as a seville but it will be much ebtter made. Second, alot faster could easily be solved by some simple upgrades, the fact that the caddy comes with litterally twice the power will make it faster but the quattro with less weight will benefit you in the long run |

good car, but some problems, dont know how to explain. I think its called "bushings" or somthing like that, they are bad in the front.

I never drove a caddy ever (or seen a modern one in the flesh) but my dad owns a 98 a4 avant 1.9tdi and thats what I usualy drive and its a great car. I´ve been driving it for the last year and a half and it never gave me any sort of problems.
ABout any bushing problems like haakon spoke, I never had any, but mine is a fwd version and the quattro uses a diferent suspension in the rear and a very diferent setup in the front, but I never heard any type of problems. The b5 are great cars, the only problem with mine is that its diesel and fwd, apart from that its a really nice car, plastics inside out are good and have lasted well so far, they are really well put together IMO I say do it. ![]()

If it was me, I'd buy the A4. Its 1.8t with awd, and its an audi. My buddy has a black one that he has done some work to i.e. (race springs, chip, turbo work, exhaust, presidential tint, nd some blackout tail lights) and that thing is a little pocket rocket. Also, the Audi is a bit more practical, it has 4 doors.

you might want to talk to Verruct, he owns a tuned S4 I think so he can give you some pointers for the suspension etc (engine and transmition no, they are diferent of course) in case you wanna tune your new ride.
