so guys, i really could use your help on somthing...
hello,how are you all feeling? good i hope.
first of all i didn't know where to place this thread, so i choose the off-topic Forum. anyway, i need your help on something, our religion teacher gave me an Assignment,which is to find out about which Religion uses the smoke to cleanse the dead, and what type is it. the problem is, i suck at other religions but I DON'T HATE THEM. so i was wondering if you guys could please help me, i searched Wikipedia but i didn't get anything. so please,help?.  |

hmm do people still do this kind of thing? maybe old tribes may do it and people 100's of years ago. but maybe not in the modern world? ;s sorry i have no clue lol

it was just that now we have a professor that said that he went to a church in Europe and entered it and watched a monk with 3 else, and that one had a thing like a lamp but with some charcoal inside that puts smoke...

I grew up goin to a Catholic church and during special services, the Priest or Deacon, whichever, had a incense burner, which they would use to bless whatever was goin on
 Is that what your talking about?

yes there the catholic insence burning, but you said the dead. Im not catholic but I dont thing incense is used in death.
I think its maybe the hindus, the burn the bodies I think. But then again Im not sure.
