Default Stupid People Who Made the News

Give the gift of sports! An English man's wife spent more than $1000 on season tickets for his favorite soccer team, Manchester United. She decided that she wouldn't give him the tickets until his birthday. Nice gesture, however by waiting to surprise him on his birthday he missed the first 11 games of season!!! To make matters worse, she also bought him a child's ticket.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

So this dude did it right! He was drunk driving, flipped off a cop while driving, and while flipping the cop off he ran into a guard rail...Nice work!!! Click the link for the full story:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turin, Italy - Lucia di Matta is obviously not cut out for a life of crime. While robbing a home of jewelry and other valuables, Lucia came across a digital camera and took some pictures. After a few shots she decided the camera wasn't for her and left it behind. Unfortuately she forgot to erase the pictures, one of which happened to be of her. Police identified her after the homeowner turned the picutre over to them. As you can imagine it wasn't the only picture they had of Lucia on file. She's under arrest.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sea Bright, N.J - Adam Kopple jumped off a brigde in Sea Bright to impress a woman on their second date...The 25 year old fell 20 to 30 feet into the frigid Shrewsbury River. Police mobilized a rescue effort and they used a few good samaritians a rope and a ladder to haul him in. Police charged Adam with disorderly conduct. Sea Bright Police Chief William Moore told the Asbury Park Press the woman said there wouldn't be a third date!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

After 23 years woman finally passes drivers test!?!?!?!? Come on now!

Maria McCarthy started taking lessons when she was 17. She has had over 250 lessons and ten instructors. Maria said "Nothing about driving came easily to me. It was a mixture of nerves and lack of ability."
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Des Moines, Iowa - Emmalee Bauer was fired from her job at a hotel for misuse of company time. Seems she has also been denied unemployment benefits. Turns out that misuse of compnay time involved Emmalee using her employer's computer to keep a journal of her efforts to avoid work! She testified that her journal was intended to help her deal with anxiety and frustration! The judge didn't buy the story and she has been denied all benefits by (according to the judge) demonstrating her refusal to work as well as her "amusement at getting away with it."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hilton Head, SC - A 23 year old man was charged with disorderly conduct afer a deputy observed him "in a physical confrontation with a bush".

Responding to a complaint that a man tried to get into a stranger's care, a deputy called over to the suspect, who was punching vegetation - he than ran across the street to a bank parking lot and kicked the crap out of one more bush before talking to police.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matt Burks & Zach Walden walked out of the juvenile detention center they were staying at and decided they needed a getaway vehicle! The two managed to start up the Hocking Valley (Ohio) Scenic Railway locomotive. Problem is the tracks go right past the local police department and they found it strange that the train was running on a weekday since it only runs on the weekends. Police busted the boys 12 miles down the tracks although they weren't too hard to find, they were blowing the whistle and waking residents and stopped at a grocery store on the way!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

An antiques dealer in New York City is suing the HOMELESS for 1 million dollars...I'm sure he'll get every penny. Click on the link below for more.

From Nazareth, Pa. comes today's binger break. Rober Townes was caught shoplifting several gardening supplies from a local store. The owner of the store called the cops who checked Robert out and discovered that, in additon to the stolen items, he was carrying a list, titled "Things Needed to Grow Pot"!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cape Coral, Fla - Franklyn Pigott, set his home ablaze while attempting to destroy a nest of bees that had formed outside the home.

When Pigott mixed a product called Real Kill Indoor Fogger with WD-40 and added a match it became a flame-thrower and melted and destroyed the home's vinyl siding.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Commissioners in Charlotte County, Fla. decided not to adopt an open container law that would have banned consuming alcohol in public places because it could be interpreted as discriminatory against homeless people. A commissioner notes that the homeless don't have anywhere to drink but on public land.
