Default Southern California Hill Climb

After a recent incident with local authorities i am trying to organize a southern california downhill / hill climb type race open to the general public using one of the most challenging roads in the Santa Monica Mountain ranges (and possibly in the world) as a short 4 mile down hill run. The road im thinking of is one that really has to be seen to be believed. The problem is getting an event like this started. Im kind of making this post to try and rally together enough drivers to really make this happen. Still looking into who to contact in regards to the city, and what permits would be needed. If you think you or anyone you know would be interested please let me know through this thread of a private message. The only way this will happen is if we get enough people to push for it. Ask me some details if you want, but i am still sort of working out a plan and what not. Any thoughts?

you will need guards along the road, ambulance (not free), cops, tech inspectors etc. Its a good idea, but hard to make happen.

Won't happen, the chp will tell you to take it to the tracks and off the public roads.
