Im thinking about picking up this phone since my Razr died. Anyone use it and how do you like it? Any special sites you guys know that might have them for cheaper. The monthly plan is like $44+ per month everywhere I checked.

what company is that for, and is that with unlimited internet? cuz u definently gonna want internet with a blackberry

Well I ordered the Blackberry Pearl today directly from the T-mobile site. The phone cost me $267 including shipping. My plan will run me about $34.98 a month. I decided not to go for internet and unlimited emails, since I have a laptop. Didnt really see a need for those features.

yea my friend got one for christmas, awsome phone for the internet though, it has like a mouse type thingy to scroll down and up and stuff...but yea the internet isnt really important though...good phone choice

I cant wait to get it, arrives on the 15th. It was between this and a T-mobile Sidekick 3. Went with the blackberry because its more unique and I like the style better and it still does everything the Sidekick does plus more.

well i also have a couple of friends with the sidekick 3's, i would have gottin that one instead, awsome design on those....the black berry is way different btw imo

I was gonna go with the sidekick but the monthly plan would of been over
$50. Didnt really feel like spending that kinda money right off the bat. Plus with the Blackberry I could upgrade my plan at anytime to get internet and unlimited emails and etc. Plus alot of people have Sidekicks, so I wanted to be different.

But we'll see how I like the Blackberry, Ive got nothing but positive feedback about it.

How do you feel the Sidekick is different? I know that the Sidekick is more of a phone for texting while the Blackberry is known for the email.

and blackberry pearl is just a bar phone

im just saying that i like the design of the sidekick more...but the blackberry is a very good phone, u made a good choice

Yeah the famous swiffle thing with the screen, I actually like that too. Didnt know you were talking about the design but I thought you were talking about the features. Im more of a texter so the sidekick would have been nice with that full keyboard. But Ill live with the Blackberry way of texting. But yeah its all on your personal preference with these phones.

I actually like both of the designs. As you mentioned there both great phones. You cant go wrong with either one.
