My buddy just sold his 11 second subaru and want's to go back to the domestic rwd scene.. and he's torn between a 05 GTO or 03/04 Cobra.. He want's it as a daily driver/weekend warrior so it'll be lightly modded..
I personally would go the terminator route without question because of looks and ease of reaching the 11's but he's really digging the GTO's interior and I do have to agree which him when he says it's the best interior GM's had out in the last ten years.. so from a daily driver/light performance standard which would you choose? and why?

cobra, cause i would gut the interior and add a cage, but thats just me. i chose cars for performance not cause of the interior.

CObra would be faster for cheaper but those i think are going for about the same price as a GTO, if your friend is set on a GTO tell him to go to a Pontiac dealer some around here still have some 06s on the lot I'm sure he could get a niice deal for one.

thanks for the input fellas.. also let me add in that he's recently relocated down south to Florida and in that part of Florida cobras, mustangs and 350z's are a dime a dozen.. which is anothing small reason why he's leaning towards the GTO plus the GTO can be had for a few dollars less right now in his area.

gto all the way. drop a cam in a 5.7 or 6.0 LS engine, and its music to the ears.
