Hello guys, I was looking through some old pics archive and this is what I found. It's me from the pass many years ago when I was in the Army. It was very hard but it was also lots of fun :thumpup: I served in the norwegian Royal King's Guard. Our drill guardist is one of the best in the world for military tatoo shows and won the world championships many years a row. Hope you guys like the picture

Nice dude. You had mandatory military service or you enlisted by your own choice?

It was my own choice but not everyone can be King's Guard. You have to pass lots of tests and your physics must be top notch

Ok. We have this here (portugal) too. I ended up not being forced to do military service. I have alot of family in the militaries, mainly in the army. I got a couple of uncles who had a career, served in Mozambique during the war in the 70´s, and Bosnia and East-Timor on peace missions.

How long did you served?

^^ I served only 1 year. I almost continued to verve for the UN or NATO but the last minute decided not to (went to Thailand insted).

My family in Thailand from my fathers side is a whole bunch of military people also. You see my thai name is Yutthaphum which mean "Battlefield". Guess I got these stuff in my blood

Thanks man,

We use AG3, I love that weapon so much. It's a bit unreliable running with it in the woods coz it's heavy but it's very strong. Not to brag about but I was the best shooter in the company

good story of pic.not my kind of thing the army.its a job u will never get laid off from tho.lol they always need people to kill people.

^^ Standing complete still for 2 hours straight outside the Kings pallace requires endurance and discipine, especially with the 4.5 kg heavy gun

Anyway it was a good experience. I both enjoyed and hated it the same time but takes it with you for the rest of your life.
