Do you think Japanese awsome sport car age is over

with the Silvia, Rx-7,Supra and the GT-R(G35 really isnt like the any of the GT-R's) going out of production it seems the age of incredable drifting monsters and just all around fast cars for the Japanese has faded. Yes, i know there is still the Evo and just about all the Subaru's but it just wont be the same.

Do you think this is true, or have you hered of a car soon coming out that will be just as good as the Silvia, GT-R and so on.

Well no I also felt like that when the F-bods went out of production.

I thought that everything wasn't going to be the same. But then I found out that the Chevrolet Company might bring out a 2008 Camaro. The reason why they are doing that is so that it can compete with the 2005 Mustangs. I also boleive that they are coming out with the Nova or Chevelle one of the two. My point here is that they mostlikely will bring more GT-R's (My favorite japanese vehicle) Sylvia's, Supras and the RX-7's. And if they don't come out right away they most likely will in the future.

Ans if for some weared reason they don't ever come out again it will suck ass...

Im sad because there won't be more GTR's, i love that car and be in love w/ it for life. I don't like the GTR project they have shown. i think it looks awesome, but not to be named GTR, It's too big and seems almost imposible to be a sport car. the only thing that looks alike are the tailights.

On the other hand i feel happy because nissan is comming out w/ great cars like the infinity G35, here in the US and i think it's actually named Skyline in europe or japan. also the 350z a nice sport compact car.

i work in the auto industry and there have been heavy rumors that the rx8 is kind of a trial for an updated rx7. if sales are good, then we will probably be seeing a turbo two door version in the future. we can only hope.

It's not over. They'll come out with something else similar, if they don't they're retarded and they're gonna be missing out on some serious cash.
