Importing cars from Mexico???

Anyone know anything about this?

I saw a 1998 240sx (kinda rare) recently that was for sale in a border city and saw an oportunity to make some money on a resale but don't know anything about importing them to the states. Can people buy a car with Mexican plates through ebay or something like that? Would they?
It would be badass if you could import japanese cars to mexico, I would own a mother****en skyline by now.

Uhhh there cheap because there basically stolen cars, most of the time.

its only stolen if u get caught but call the dmv in your area and ask them about the procedure there will more than likely be a inspection done by the state patrol and all that too

It would be awesome to get a beetle from mexico, they made the old style up until a few years ago.

usually if the car is illegal weather you import or not you can't plate it with the plates of your area...


if you import most likely there will be an inspection to be done...


and like memph said car the dmv near your place and ask information about it
