Adam: Actually, Rockstar says you can't hurt teachers. Why not wait for the game?

Jack: Take Two lied about Hot Coffee! And they didn't immediately correct descriptions of teacher beatings! I sued retailers and got a school district to condemn the game -- that's why they changed it! Give me the game! I want to play it and tell you how bad it really is!

Adam: Just wait for the game to come out!

Jack: But then it'll be out!

Adam: So? Is it a virus that will lead to rampant violence immediately? Don't you agree that that's totally insane?

Mark: My boys are violent and they never play games. Violence sucks, but it's a free country. It's up to the parents. Jack can keep his kids from it.

This whole thing pissed me off, this guy basically thinks its the responsibility of the makers of video games to gage the content in which children see. What are your thoughts on games with violent content being played by children. IMO I think that the problem lies with the parents and their inability to control and/or raise their children where they know the difference between right & wrong. Violent video games and violent movies do not affect children. The failure as a parent to teach them the difference between reality and fantasy does, if you don't teach them the difference everything blends together.

btw i got bored of watching so i started to read the bottom...read around the 2:50 mark....lol paris hilton got a ticket after parking he 400, 000$ merc. and lost her keys....apperantly they were inthe igniotion the whole time...

I always played violent games, saw violent movies, etc and I turned out alright. (yes, really, I did)

It´s all in the way you teach your children how to interpet what they see.

Violence...well people know how to hurt other people without games. So i think its kind of stubid say that games teach how to do violence.

Age rating...well some parents dont know what that means right?

If there is 18y age rating then dont buy it to your kid(simple isent it)

Some parent are idiots....if something goes wrong with the kid...they tell it games fault :mecry: I think some parents should look in the mirror to see who is the real problem.

^^ agree...but those ratings are mainly there for the kids not to go into a store and buy the games themselves.....if the parents buy it for them then theres a problem

There should be more violence in video games. They need to stop worrying about it and worry about the parents. If the parents buy the game for the kid then the parents should be beaten in front of the kid to teach them a lesson.
