Street Racing

What do you think about street racing. . . . me and my friends dont really agree with each other. some think its cool, some dont. what do u think?

me personaly, i have seen a few REALLY good friends get hurt. i would much rather see some racing done on the track then on the street. i mean, 1- NO TICKETS, 2- a fare race, 3- WAY safer on the track then the street. i hear A LOT of people say that they do it for the thrill of it all. . .i dont know i guess i dont see the thrill of seeing you car get towed away, or seeing your friends get hurt, if not yourself. . . but thats just me. . .ive never really gone, so i dont know how it REALLY go's down. . . .

plus it all depends where you are.. some of us don't have tracks anywhere near us..

I said yes but I don't agree fully!!! I think if it's at some unpopulated area like a industrail park or a road with no houses on it then the drivers just killing themselfs!!! People should be up the street in both ways on cell phones or walkytalkys to see other cars. Thats what I'd do. :thumpup:

your right, you can get hurt doing ANYTHING, like walking out of your house. . maybe street racing isnt as DANGEROUS as its made out to be, like i said, IVE NEVER GONE. . . but from what i hear it is dangerous . . . and thats coming from people that i know that do it almost every night

street racing is stupid. its full of ricers, and idiots. go to a track. its ****ing street racers why alot of deaths are caused on the road. Not long ago here a little girl was killed by a guy in an SUV street racing. it needs to stop.

i agree with that. if thats how it was when people race. then yea, but from what i know that is VERY rare that its that safe

well the street racing was killed cause of the stupid losers that would come out just to say they were there. but there are still a few events were choice people are informed as to the wereabouts of the meet is and it goes off without a hitch. retards bring the cops and the problems, but with that said if you rev i will go for it unless it is a useless pos i know isn't worth the gas.

well like i said, ive never been. . . so all i know is what people tell me. . and from what i hear ALL the time, its never really a good thing. . people getting tickets, cars towed, dudes gettn arrested for just being there, people crashing, and either hurting them self and or other people, OR some one that died. . . if ANY ONE can show me a few meets, where dudes race, and nothing really serious happens, then ill take back what i said and ill say that street racing is SICK, as long as its done right. . . .

going to the track costs money. and going to the street is for free :thumb: and personally i think the 1/4 mile sucks and is kinda boring unless you got somethin that is really fast. but road racing is pretty cool i pay for that but again its expensive my .02 :thumb:

honestly I find it street racer means nothing to me. You dont have official records of what you done. plus you don't really get sponsor for street racing. theres more things to say but i think thats my main point.

like i said i've never been to one, so i cant really say, "OH YEA, i know how it all go's down". but it just seems, that i never really heard anything good

I always race when thier is an open road, I hate it when jackoffs try to race in traffic.

the track always has 19 second cars, Sure its good for them for experience. But them damn same people race in traffic and think thier GOD :banghead:

It doesnt matter to me ( track or street ) I'm always prepared to race.
