Thanks again guys, my dad had diabetes since he was in his early 20, he was on kidney dialisis for the past 5 years and had his left foot amputated bout 3 years ago, but at least now he's not suffering anymore and is at peace.

sorry to hear about this rob, heres a poem i found
After my father gave me his blessing For the first time, saying, "God bless you" As I left him to the darkness, He held me there and kissed my hand. For the first time saying, "God bless you" In all the years that I had loved him, He held me there and kissed my hand, And the child shivered with delight. In all the years that I had loved him, We understood no need to speak. The child shivered with delight; The man in silence turned away. We understood no need to speak As I left him to the darkness. The man in silence turned away After my father gave me his blessing. By Jan Z. Lublina

Death is like a car
That disappears around a curve, Or like an ancient custom That we've failed to preserve. The car continues going Even though we cannot see, And the custom just remains Itself, outside of memory. Death is a relation To a certain time and place; To Eternity it's nothing In a line of endless grace. I've loved you all so much That I've known Eternity, Vast and never ending Deep within the thing that's me. Time is like a river And love a clear, still lake That holds the sky within it, Crystalline and yet opaque. And I have had that gift In an abundance that is rare, With you and with my husband Who's both gone and everywhere. I feel the awesome beauty Of the end of earthly breath. I've had a rich, full life And now a peaceful, shining death.

Very sad to hear Rob, I'm sure he is proud of what he has left behind.

Alright you primitive screw-heads, listen up. See this? This is my boomstick! It's a 12-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan; retails for about one hundred nine, ninety-five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right, shop smart, shop S-Mart! |
