Hey guys, so this is my senior year in high school and a few days from graduation. The problem is that I have to do a final power point presentation on a project we started since the beginning of the year. My goal is to prove that professinal auto racing is one of the safest sports

So I was wondering if you guys have any cool diagrams on safety features of a race car, tracks, driver gear, etc... maybe something else that could help prove my point.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks

on this site somewhere in the rally videos there is a crash compilation video with good mix from DJ Scooter playing in the background. you can maybe show the video while explaining that although the video is all about rally crashes the saftey equipment is basically the same through all motor sports. also point out that safety is the # 1 priority when it comes to racing and that if your car does not conform to SCCA, NHRA, IHRA, NASCAR, etc. etc. saftey rules and regs you will not be racing. on the aformentioned video also mention that there is only 3 out of the 100 or so crashes that the poeple in the car didnt walk away meaning that they were hurt but not dead. alos would be a good idea to put up saftey regs on your presentation stating what is ok and whats not. if you type in google " roll cage" you will be surprised at how many pics/pages will have information on the subject too. lol here is the vid

#1 the volvo and the tree
#2 one inside view into the trees
#3 Tommi Makinen hits rock wall .... co-driver air lifted to hospital
