put down 482 whp... looks like nissan underrated again. just like they did on r33 and r34. that explane the lap time.

mattlikespeople, it was meant to be at the engine not at wheels so the engine must be making pretty big numbers considering awd power loss is involved

i know. thats why its just that much more impressive. ok, 15% for a rwd car so lets just round to 20% for the awd for drivetrain losses. whips out a calc. thats like 600 at the crank. omg

Hate to be picky but that's not hp that it's measuring in. It's actually just over 475 hp and 428 lb/ft torque.

wtf kind of wierd dyno was that? The awd dyno I have seen had front and rear rollers. Kinda cool looking and good power.

I've seen them before. They hook directly up to the hub so they require less space. The only problem being you have to remove the wheels.

and the other advantage is no wheelspin :P

and wtf at the dyno, the graph says flywheel horsepower but the pic shows it being dynoed at the hubs :S

They must be estimating the Flywheel HP on the graph. i have a hard time believing that they are putting more HP to the pavement than they advertise at the Crank. Still gonna be a cool ride! They are claiming they have made the ECU damperproof (from Car and Driver for what thats worth).

it's to the hub. a 3800lbs car can't run 11.6 at 120 with > 400 wheel hp.

with 20% loss and 489 at the crank, you would still have almost 400 at the wheels. So Nissan is either giving away 80-100 free HP or they have created the only drive system that increases HP.
