According to Nissan's press literature, luxury wasnt part of the equation. This is supposed to be a daily driveable sports car... its interior is functional, but not luxurious.

Straight from the Official Skyline GT-R website:
An Interior Suitable for Daily Driving or Supercar Duties
"Key to the Nissan GT-R’s usability as a both daily driver and a high-performance supercar is its interior, which is designed to balance functionality, a sense of ease, and comfort."

Where is it stated that they were trying to impart luxury into the car? And so what if it can carry 4 ppl.. who races with 4 ppl anyways?

Ive personally never seen anyone, no matter how much of a diehard GM guy, make claims that a zr-1 makes 120 hp more than its factory rating or can trap 149 mph, as quickly as a hayabusa, bone stock

a car with 4 seats makes it futional IMO. noone races a car everyday they jump into it..so that could be used to take the kids to school.where other 2seater cars couldnt...like ermm a vette. u couldnt use that for a school run. well if u had 1 kid u could..having more seats makes it more useable for every day use. no need for a DD.

and the luxury part was a question. it wasnt a statment hence the ????.. it just looks pretty good from inside compaired to some other cars IMO.


all the other shit about 150 mph 1/4s. im sure ppl can find some kind of shit from all other forums of cars.hyping up new cars.and speaking shit..its not just limited to jap car owners.not matter how much u hate them..

awww cmon now its hit the streets in japan :P, and the track times have been proven, as for all us "ricers" whacking off over this car, its cus it does have some new improvements and is a major leap forward for Nissan, and the fans have long waited for this car, im sure you'd do the same for a car that you have been waiting on

the whole "it'll do this" it'll do that" BS happened months ago, possibly even a year ago, time will tell when more and more videos start appearing on the internet.

bottom line, its much cheaper than the cars it was designed to compete with and performs well, and it'll be sold worldwide

i personally hated the look of the gtr when it first came out, but its slowly growing on me, although the new Lexus V10 powered car thats coming out looks much better

1st- The "floorless" thread I have read and it doesn't look like a spelling mistake to me. But how cares anyway we all make mistakes like that.
2nd- You may want to take some time and think about what you post yourself also. Not trying to change this thread but the STi vs Shelby blog, you were totally unrational when we were discussing it. I understand your in constant war or words with USA car lovers on this site, so dont take it out on other people that like the same thing, and to be honest you've asked for it/ deserve it, in my opinion. I have had words with other GM nuthuggers, but have never diss GM or there rides cause of it. (I currently own a GM car also)
3rd- Any this thread, I've done some thinking and NO WAY is this car going to hit 120mph in the 1/4.
- 500hp Viper, (3400 lbs, high 3.08 gear thou) 118 mph
- 505hp Z06, (3150 lbs, decent 3.44 gear) 121 mph
- 550hp Ford GT (3400 lbs) 125mph
The above cars are N/A and the V6 Skyline is turboed, and makes up the disadvantage of average HP of having a V6 compared to V8 so;
- 500hp GT500 (supercharged 3850 lbs, 3.30 gear) 114 to 115 mph
If anyones arguement is going to be the Skyline is underrated, it's fair to also say the above cars are also underrated, AND all have less drivetrain losses.
I've said it once and i'll say it again I DO NOT TRUST JAPANESE CAR MANUFACTURERS.
4th- Lastly before this car gets tested what do you think it will run? Post it and lets see who's clostest.

My Guess: 12.48 @ 117.5 mph

1.eeh. i said floorless diamond. and it is spelt flawless.. that is misspelt. as i ment flawless diamond. not floorless living room.

2. i was by far in my right to say what i did.in the sti v stang thread that it was a stock v stock review. not a modded vs stock review..your point was wrong. blaim ford for the tyres.

id say a lower time.if the times are true in the test video..as it was on a non glued track..but wont be the end of the world if its slower or faster..

well on the first point. id still take a AWD on the tyres it had.over the stang in winter..AWD>RWD on snow..

ermm i dont know much about mph over 1/4mile..
