ok Nismo is nissan.

its just the performance orianted department of nissan. but nismo and nissan are one in the same.

that said signal is a tuner shop not a parts manufacturer, yes some shops create their own on off parts or even manufacturer certain parts.

but for the most part a tuner shop builds cars. so theyll use parts from all different companies to make they car as they see fit.

also i may be wrong but im pretty sure the RB30 is this car is a stroked rb26 as are most in rb30 in japanese gtrs.

careful mang, As below, the RB30 block uses a longer stroke crank which is going to clearly rise piston speeds, and increase inertial compressive / tension loads of the rods. Ppl with 30/25/26 combos LOOSE the effortless revs of a 25 or 26 and need to peg the limit to 8k rpm. The blocks also don’t have the same level of ribbing and suffer higher levels of distortion at higher loads.
Think I would stick with a rebuilt 26, move redline to 9500 and be happy. All this American bullshit about stroking motors, trying to get cc's to spool turbos wtf. It uses a turbine to increase the motor volumetric efficiency, realize this, stopp whinging bout off boost performance, and build it to use its ON boost performance.
Serious, a RB26 will still spool a G35 framed garret by 4000rpm. A GT3584 will flow just over 420rwkw's at below 2bar. 4000-8250 power band is quiet mighty. Most ppl dont need 600bhp, ppl should be careful of "ohhh ahhh'ing" over ANY modification to ANY engine, and understand the concept.

Love tremek, always good for a rant / dig :thumb:

Its more because the Japs tend to TUNE original engines, its a sign of weakness (or disrespect) to greatly modify a motor like that.

Maybe not "ease" but you can spend money on anything. Issue with combo is that your using the stock 30 crank which wasn't designed to be placed in to a performance motor. Your looking at 86x86mm bore X stroke with that crank and block, which is the same as a 2JZ. To rev ANY sqaure 86mm setup close to 10k is going to $$$$ if you wanna do it often

Ryans Woo's crew know whats required. They STROKE a 86x86 setup to 3.4L then rev it hard.

True enthusiasts should find this thread on SAU an interesting read.
SAU vs NS
Starts off as a, "which is better, SR or RB" but gets a little deeeper

NS is bigger as they sold S14's, S15's here and theres a butt load of imported S13's.
There were never 32, 33, 34 Skylines sold here, so smaller.

Oh really, which IRC channel have you found SAU monkeys on?
