Oh my god, G-A-YANY fwd car with almost 300 whp from a dig would light up the tires, it would have also lit them up in second when racing (my car is like 150 hp and chirps them in second). ALSO, that was either... 1) A N/A 300ZX OR 2) A TT 300ZX that wasn't going... I call BS...a large steaming pile of STAGED BS..get the hell out of here ![]()

Stock for stock (depending on the year of the Z) their times/speeds are pretty close. Add 100 hp to the ion and it would be faster than the Z.

Depending on the year of that "Z" It should only go 0-60 in about 5.7 I know for a fact that a STOCK red line will do a 5.9-5.7 And if you added even more power..well what do you think! Now as for having traction prob, yes it will but if you know how to launch, shift, and drive...no prob. My opnion anyways

Please, show me another 294whp front drive car that doesn't spin from a dig when shifting to second, unless he's running drag slicks on the street, I even them should hear some sort of "chirp"
As far as "who said the 300ZX TT had 300 hp" comment, that's what they come with stock if I am right and that thing HAD to be stock, but I don't hear anything from inside the cam car that suggests to me it was boosted. I still call N/A and I call STAGED STAGED STAGED! ...damn kids ![]()

Add 100 whp to the Ion and if it is beating a TT Z by what, 8-10 lengths, it is running 12's or faster. Now, try and tell me again that is a TT Z or that he was trying or that the WHOLE DAMN THING IS BUUUUUUUUUUWWWWWLLLLSHHHYYYTTT :banghead:

Those numbers are great..... for comparing cars in magazines. However they leave something very important out, THE DRIVER. And with close to 300whp the ion is probably running in the 12's.
