No dude, w/ turbos. BMW was the first brand (in europe) to put turbos on the road.

Back in the late 70īs race BMW CSL (batmobile) and M1 were putting out 800~950hp in normal road racing. In the early 80īs the 4cylinder M10 block from the stock roadgoing, low-rent 1502 was used in Formula 1! They actually used road engines, sometimes from scrapyards to use in the race cars, and they went off the scale in the BMW test bed wich went up to 1280hp...

Hereīs a couple of links about it

BMW M5 3.8 L motor dynoed to 1422bhp / 1610 Nm so far. With nitrous it is a torque monster with over 2000 Nm and somewhere around 1800-1850bhp. VS MOTOR havent had a succesfull run with nitrous yet because the superstrong PG transmission cant handle the torque. VS have now ordered a special dragrace transmission from USA. But since the dragrace season is over for this year in Norway, you have to wait to next year to see more of this car.

i know BMW's engines can make 1000 bhp.i said with stock short block .it means stock pistons, stock rods and stock crank shaft.that engine dosn't have any stock internals, whick means it's not on stock short block. 6g72 engine can makes 800+hp on stock long block it means with stock heads stock pistons stock rods and stock crank shaft.

thank you. i knew thay make after market block as well.we don't know how much power the stock block can hold. i bet that 7 sec r33 dosn't have even factory bare block.you can't find block for 2jz and 6g72.you can't even find a after market crank or srtoker for 6g72.all you can find is rods and pistons and still ther is 3/s in 9s with out them, and bad tune.

Actually it is said that the RB can handle close to 1000 horses on the stock block but, that's what Nissan says.
