Warning! 651MB long classic racing video of the Nissan Skyline R32 GTR's dominance at the Mount Panaroma Bathurst Australian GT Championship back in the early 90's killing all the V8's on track before they got banned for being too superior for the other competitors

It was the Australian Touring Car Championship. And at that time Bathurst was a stand alone Group A event.
As I've said, the R32 GTR is my all time favourite touring car (I saw these very cars a number of times with Jim Richards, Mark Skaife and Mark Gibbs driving, factory Nissan colours and Winfield colours and GIO for Gibbs) but it isn't all that fair considering the dated cars of the competition. The Sierras had been around for years, same with the E30 M3's and the Commodores were basically based on a very early 80's floorpan. Kind of like putting a new f1 car up against a 4 or 5 year old one. No ammount of money, tuning etc can make up for a vehicles older dynamics. But the variety of cars is what I loved too. Nonetheless I still love these cars and have the vids here now. Mmm Group A R32's........
