boo! skylines are awesome but they are getting way too played out. the same goes for supras. how about everyone do something for yourself and not something you saw some guy do 10 years ago or in a movie (the fast and the furious 1 and 2).

Sounds like a couple of jealous lads are posting on here. Whats the problem, Skyline Gas mileage too much for you? Insurance is too much? The state wont let you have one? Diddums.

Imo Skylines are up there in the automotive history books along with a host of others, I think they have earned the right, people buy them because of the fact they are so good and people want them. I mean it's like a popular music artist going multi platinum, the artist has to be good to the majority to achieve those numbers but to then say I'm not gonna buy their stuff cos it's too played out is silly because if that's what you like listening to then your going to buy it.

I love my Subaru but would give my right arm to have a R34 Skyline and would choose the Nismo edition 500 BHP over any Ferrari, and I love Ferrari's.

hey, i never said i dont want one. no one will believe me but im actually setting up to buy one from canada. the videos are played out though, ive seen sooo many skylines that are just racing around and its the same thing everytime. its like if you were to go to the ford section and all they posted there was 13 second red 1995 mustangs at the drag strip doing clean 13 second runs. its too repetative.

BTW, this video is old old old. Its a Nissan tuned JGTC GT500 race car... I mean it still had the RB in it.. Nissan switched to a TT VG in 2002 I believe. Then to the 350Z a year later.

Awesome car, but replaced by a 350Z engine, then the car its self.

Developed at the Nurberg ring, race bred, race winning.... you chaps wouldnt know 200mph if it slapped you in the face. 350's... huh... simply a compromise. RB power... is a no restrictions race engine for the road. All I ever hear is non-RB owners whinging on old vids and played out skyline videos. Sorry but you yanks will never be able to experience RB power and for that I feel sorry for you (exempt CIVIC guy)

i am going to go with my instinct and say you dont actually have a skyline. if you did you wouldnt be so defensive. i have a 300zx, people talk crap about it all day and i dont care. sure i will discuss it with people but i dont get all up in arms about it.
basically what im trying to say is that its ok if you dont have a cool car, no one cares, you dont have to pretend you have a skyline to make people think you are awesome on the internet. knowing alot about a car is more respectable than owning one and not knowing a thing about it.

You do relize that the RB was replace with the VG for Nissan R&D dont you? What do you think the new Skyline is going to have? VG maybe? Rb's kick ass, but they're not made by the gods. Get over it.

And its JGTC! No one uses 1000ps. Its a 500hp cap! If the RB is so awesome, why did nissan replace it? They must not know as much as you! Please do us all a favor, and write Nissan and inform them of yourself and your thoughts.
