That's a good friend of mine at 1:40, now he's got a KB 2.8 and just laid down 747rwhp, I remember him telling me about the Evo mopping everybody up around there on the street back when he lived in Florida.

Who the hell tunes a boosted car for 13:1 AF?!?! How old is the 1st part of the video, the 6xxwhp section. I know from when I worked at Alamo the owner had a daily-driven Evo 2.1l 7xxwhp monster....and that was before I worked there, over 5 yrs ago. It is kinda funny when I see these AMS cars being bragged about, and I know Alamo made more power a good 2-3 yrs earlier. I guess marketing makes a difference.

I bet he could just barely beat the Evo on the GT35, and is back to seeing his brake lights with the GT42. It is sad that it has a 2.3l, because they can't rev it enough to really use the GT42.

LOL, he would rape the **** out of the GT35, hell my car would beat the EVO with the GT35. He now runs consistant 9.8x @ 139 with the stock IRS and T56... what does THIS Evo run with the GT42? The Cobra is currently under the knife, switching to a SRA for a couple passes and then over the winter will be going auto. It's the only 6 speed IRS cobra to run consistant 9's with blower only, I helped assemble the motor in this car and can vouch for the fact that it's stock heads, stock cams, the only modded thing internally is the stock compression pistons are forged, that's it. I'm in the process of buying the same short block for my car, the MMR900. There was one other 6 speed IRS Cobra that ran ONE 9 second pass a while back. Look up xxwgxx on youtube and you'll find this car as it was a couple months ago. **** it here's a vid of the 9.82 run, same helmet cam that I posted in near record breaking pass in the boss 302 from the same day. Do you really think that Evo would trap 139?

depends on how it's set up and who's driving, there may be a reason that you only see that car roll racing, not one vid at the track.

Not on street tires. I did a quick youtube search...
900whp Evo traps at 157mph. Don't know the setup, don't care.

Impressive machine, lacks a head light but still sick.

Indeed that trap speed requires a chute.... is that a 900awhp car? sure looks like more power.

Right, that one is set up for the track, I was wondering why the one in the vid Kunt posted never goes to the track. That white car is having some traction issues it appears, with that trap speed he should be a tad quicker imo.
