throw some headers on that viper and a few more psi. That wouldn't be hard to do and you'd most likely get another 100hp so you stop losing to a 4cyl... haha. Crazy evo assuming the numbers on that viper are accurate

^ actually, throwing headers on the viper wouldn't do much at all from what I have seen. There is a speed shop that opened up closer to me and I went there to check it out and there was a 2007 Viper on the dyno. He was there to do the after part of the before and after headers power gain. Well, he said he paid $1400 for the headers and he was pissed he only gained 9 rwhp and 12 rwtq...I lol'd.

doh! That just shows that the manifolds on there are designed well then but i'm sure if you were using a supercharger or turbo t he headers would benefit more compared to naturally aspirated.

^ maybe, but I know that w/ the fbody cars, guys with long tubes switch back to the cast iron manifolds for turbo applications. I don't know turbo systems in great depth, but I'm guessing that having huge headers would not be as beneficial for builing boost as the turbo runs off spent exhaust.

that's gettin too indepth for me. I just figure hor high HP cars running boost you're want a fairly free-flowing exhaust. Obviously back pressure comes into play but the specific role is beyond my limited understanding.
