yeah I didn't have enough room to slow down or I would have topped it out. I figure it's gear limited to 180+ or so if I spun it up to 8500 in 5th

Very nice, so you have a GSR with the 5 speed? I am concidering an evo 9 but was looking at the MR becuase it had a 6spd.

thanks for the compliments guys, I've happy with the evo but in typical fashion I want more
 just waiting on the forged internals/short block, race head and cams to arrive before I crank up the boost another 10psi on race gas.yep, it's the GSR + 5 speed. The MR is sexy, I love the interior but people have problems with the gears in the 6-speed

I saw a thread on evolutionm.net this morning where one of my customers was talking about doing a swap he was told by some others that it's not a big deal at all so maybe it's pretty straight forward.

your telling us that have done all that hauling ass on stock internals.....wow. stockers must be decent to hold up to 30psi and those launches. can't wait to see 40+psi in that pocket rocket !!!
