3550 lbs sounds alot for a rear-wheel (almost full frame) muscle car, who's 8.8in 31 spline diff can handle 1000whp? All, musclecars, stock from factory come with serious hardware for racing.

Now if your into rallying, off roading or just want a nice all round car, an Sti is a good choice, but make no mistake the Stang isn't slow and will bring an a*swhopping to your doors.

2. My car weighs around 2900 lb with me in it

3. What part of my car makes almost 450 hp and 480 tq at the crank (yes 15000 dollars worth of mods will do that) didn't you understand?

Apparently you want to race the straight line, thats ok with me and I will give you the advantage and do it on a roll. If you have something against that we will dig it up. I would love to see that happen the nose plow under braking will be just enough to cut the lawn as you head off into the grass.

3rd - 15k to an impreza > 15k to a stang.

As far as cars breaking down that all depends on the owner. I have heard ford owners call them nothing but shit and have them break down every other day. I have heard the same from a driver of every maker of car. The driver makes or breaks the car in most cases.

On your 3rd comment, I strongly disagree. 10k KB blower installed with gauges makes 455 RWHP. Forge the motor for remaining 5k and your making 600RWHP+. For $2200 USD, you can forge and increase displacement to 5.0L. Parts are very cheap for Mustangs.
