The only thing you have to remember, is no replacement for displacement. The 03-04 cobras (tho I love them to death) are supercharged as they lsx's are not. And, they are only making roughly 70-90 more horsepower at the wheels.

300 hp and mid 3000 weight backed by 3.55s in the 5 speeds do not equate high 12s? I guess Evos and STis are not 12 second cars...

they actualy are not. they run mid 13s. if you mean the 07 mustang they weight alot too.

Boost is a replacement for displacement.

The discplacement of a motor is measured in the amount of air it can hold when running at 100% volumetric efficiency (which they rarely do).

Boost is adding more air to that motor, therefore increasing the amount of air it's holding.

Since 14.7 is atmospheric pressure, if you add 14.7 psi to a 2.0l motor, you end up with a theoretical 4 liters. Get it?

And if we're going to rule out forced induction, I spose we have to rule out the LS9, right?
