Can the M5's internals handle turbochargers like the S4's can?

Besides, what S4 are we talking about? IIRC, the old ones had a TTv6 and the new ones have an naV8.

No on the M5...at least I haven't seen any turbo'd cars yet.

We are talking about the 2.7 liter TT engine. It's damn near bullet proof. There isn't much available for the V8 version and the motor is not nearly as strong.

I was trying to say TORQUE-DEMON's arguement was silly. Some were talking of slapping larger turbos on the S4 and going fast. He said do the same to an M5 and see what happens. I was getting at the fact that the M5's internals can't handle turbocharging. And I'm sure the compression ratio is super-high to begin with (not good when combined with turbos). So no, you can't do the same thing to an M5 (not without strengthening the internals and dropping the compression ratio, all of which lead to a more expensive car than simply souping-up an S4).

Stock S4 does compare to stock evo does it? S4 60mph time just under 7sec. Evo should be able to toast the audi.

The stock S4 does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. With a chip, it's 5.0 seconds or quicker depending on how good the driver is.

the stock S4 is 5.0 0-60. with the chip its 4.5 depending on the chip
