the only amg 65 anything vid was the SL i think and it was a big let down. driving through monte carlo at like 20mph. you need to get that much power to a nice open airfield. |

My grammar only blow some of the time. For instance, that last post was pretty bad but if i remember correctly I was tired so all grammatically correct, logical, and coherent sentances might as well be non-exsistant. If my grammar isnt perfect then thats alright. This isnt eglish class but atleast i used punctuation as opposed to some people on here who have 50 word sentances.

Calm down AK47, don´t start shooting everyone! There are systems on the market that easly disables the limitation. And there are not that expensive. But you are right, germans should limit to 155mph/250km/h the cars for the domestic market, and japanese should built cars with more than 280hp for the foreign markets, or at least lie about the true hp like Nissan did with the R34 GTR. |

The R34 GTR outputs over 300bhp instead of the official 280. I don´t know about the rest(NSX, Lancer Evo´s, Imprezas, Supra, etc)
Now Mitsubishi makes the Lancer Evolution VIII FQ versions that go up to 400bhp, but has far as I know it only exists in the UK. The R35 GTR (If it ever it the streets) is claimed to have 300 even for the domestic market. I guess the Japanese got sick and tired of their own "gentelmens agreement) to restrict power. For the Germans (except Porsche) it´s a bit complicated, ´cos as it´s said in the Top Gear vid of the CL65 AMG, the agreement was between them and the Green Party. ( But honestly, who the f*** votes on the Green Party!? ) What really pisses me off is the fact they only make AMG versions with an auto´box. At least don´t lie and say that "it´s because of the torque, it´s just too much!" Pussys... ![]() |
