Even as an AMG owner, I expected the E55 to lose by quite a bit more than that. I'm impressed.

Also...I want to see a Z06 run a CL65 or S65.

My vid didn't have sound. Anyway, the Merc was hanging there quite nicely; the Vette couldn't pull much more than the initial lunge. Also, that Vette had a modified exhaust.

That's a w210 E55 not the W211 E55... so it doesn't have the blower and only kicks out 350hp.....If it was a W211 E55..Z06 might lose!!! But anyways, the C6 Z06 is coming with rumoured 500hp...

yeah, it is (the C6 Z06). The regular model is comin with 400, so the Z06 would nly make sense to have 500...

have you seen an CL65 or S65? I was at a Benz dealer in Chicago with my dad while he was getting his plates installed on his C55 (Illinois requires a front plate so a mechanic had to drill holes in his front bumper, quite sad). They had two of each in there. Neither are very impressive up close (looking of course, not driving). If I owned one I'd completely debadge it and scare some folks.

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing either up close yet, but I've always been a fan of the CL's looks. Taking the badges off would be brutal...

You guys ever check out the SLR McLaren. Man that shit is nice. With over 600 horsepower and torque. Even tho its over 300 gran it can beat a stock Z06 in a heartbeat. Of course i love Vettes and i think the Z06 in the next year or so will be a lot better in terms of power.

are you stupid kid??? from my observation he was a very good shifter he double clutched from 2 to 3rd and 3rd to 4th and both time the tires chirped so if you think thats bouncin off the redline then you have a learning disability
