why swap an SLR engine though? why not just keep it in the original car to begin with?

that car was custom made by mercedes for the owner. that is a one of a kind car that some day could be worth a hell of alot more. and damn this makes me wish i lived in dubai even more!

the enzo was short shifting big time.it sounds ahell of alot louder then that @peak RPM.

This car was not custom built by Mercedes benz for the owner...!

The owner of this car is from United Arab of Emirates, Dubai...!

He is a former Rally driver and well he owns a tuning shop in Dubai called Ben sulayem tuning... He built that first Supercharged Chevrolet Lumina SS and currently it's the fastest one in the Middle east and he also has a Mercedes benz C32 AMG with a Turbo on it.. So it has the Factory Kompressor and a Turbo charger...!

This dude is called Mohammed ben sulayem... He built this car with his own hands and spent ALOTAAAAAA money on it!!!

I really do admire this guy...He actually has 2 SLR McLarens... but he decided to get another engine from Mercedes benz to build this ROCKETEER!!!..

The reason of the whole hood is that the engine wouldn't fit in without that hood scoop!!!

Well, this is just one of his projects!!!

arent the motor in the SLK the same one that is in the SLR? just the SLR has got some differences + a supercharger
