Now he has unique sounds... How did this happened? Is the engine tuned or something? Wierd that 4 years old M-B engine gives up nevertheless it's AMG E55...

a 2001 E55 doesn't have a supercharger, this was the old 210 chassis, the 211 chassis E55 was supercharged, it started in 2003. Although this still doesnt explain the compressor badging.

well the fact that it still runs means its not the pistons/block. Kinda sounds like he broke a rod or maybe even his camshaft?? i duno, hope he still has it under warranty!!

yea i was noticing that it says 01 E55 when the car appears to be a 03 and up 55
