i can tell ya about it now, just no pics.. its a 89 s10.. picked it up for 100bucks, yes 100 bucks and drove it home about 40 minutes away. its got a 4 cylinder 5 speed which i wanted. got new tires, clutch, battery and the whole interior is complete. only got 129,000 miles which is less then my grey bagged truck had or actually about the same. its lowered a bit but plans are to slam it down, not bag but just lower.. and the doors are already shaved but needs a popper kit. the body is almost rust free, the rockers are the worst but there not even bad. But im thinkin rat rod on this one but we'll see..
i ran some seafoam through it last night and it made a world of a difference. im gonna get some new plugs today and then clean the interior out and ill snap some more pics for you guys.. as for the beater i still got the ranger, im fixing this up to how i want it, then sellin the ranger to daily drive this |

well got home from work today, went and bought some 3" lowering blocks and some new spark plugs.. started out checking compression, well manual calls for 140psi.. mine was between 129 and 135 so i was pretty plessed by that.. then i started the lowering the rear and thats when it got nasty.. left side when smooth taking it apart.. comes to right side and for some reason when the u-bolts came apart the axel dropped more then normal.. uh ya, the old lowering block was long enough that it held the snapped main leaf in place.. ya, it snapped both sides i honestly wish i knew this cause i wouldnt have drove the truck home.. but enough of that heres some pics of the truck..
![]() ![]() ![]() ya its still dirty, the clean out comes tomorow.. ![]() the start.. ![]() o ya those blocks look safe.. ![]() then comes the right side.. ![]() ![]() ![]() in the end i managed to get the new blocks in place and it all bolted down just so i could get it outta the garage and get the sonoma in for the night.. now the hunt for some new leaf springs..
