Here is a little project I just got into. My roommate just got an white 89 NA supra and the motor had real bad rod knock so we're pulling it out. He also has an 88 turbo that needs some body work so we're going to pull the turbo motor and put it in the 89 with the better body. Then at some point were going to gut out the red 88 and make a race car

89 NA.....

88 Turbo.....

Thats all so far. We're doing some more this weekend. I'll post up progress as it comes

That red car is just a doner car with a new motor. The car sat in a barn for five years. The 7M is going in the white car and if anything I'd by a 2jz not a Lsx! Sorry I've always lover Toyota and I always will.

That's my roommates uncles. Dont know much about it but here's a few pics.....

His dad also just built a sick BMW but I'll start a new thread with that some other time.

You should really try some Shamwow for that swap, its great for cleaning up Oil, Coolant, and Water . It's Ben said you can even Port and Polish the turbo with it. My products will make you say WOW!

I agree bro I hate it when people take 240/260/280 Z's and turn them into tube chassis drag cars with chevy engines. at least go with a rb26 and keep it all nissan. Why not use a chevette or something. no need to destroy such a iconic nissan/datsun.

I've had this idea about doing a turbo ecotec chevette, with the sky/solstice drivetrain. I think it would be sick.
It would be like the gm version of the ae86
