I bought it for 700 bucks and it wasn't running. I now have it running but the turbo is shot. I found about half a quart of oil in it.

Has serious potential as a sleeper! 2.6L turbo, rwd. Very nice.

Yeah I am lookingat buying a big 16g turbo for it, but I need to get the fuel system right first. I have a walbro 255 lph right now and I am about to buy a new fpr and new injectors and then it should be right for the 16g.

I don't know much about the 2.6, can they hold up as much as the 4g63?

The biggest issue with these cars is the way the intake manifold is set up. It doesn't have the regular log and plenum set up like on most cars also it only has two injectors but they are high ccs. What most people do is an intake mani swap and run 4 injectors with a mega squirt system. but with a basic set up with a 16g and a good fuel system you are looking at about 280 to 300. Anything over 300 you have to switch intake setups, but there are some 500 hp starions out there.

Yeah 500hp is alot of money put in to the car. I am shooting for like 300hp I will be happy with a reliable 300

i have a few buddies with conquests/starions/etc. b4 the engine clean the car up and get rid of the rust

Yeah for a 20 year old car there really is that much rust and where ever its at I am going to have to doing a little bit of patch welding. It also only has 80,000 miles on it.

would be a nice car to surprise some people. plus it looks small and light.
no joke but with my storm 1.6L i have surprised a lot of ppl
i smoked a lot of my friends 350 v8s and some of there cars.
