No its the widebody version. Here are some updated pics. I have the motor out and all of the parts for the bottom end to be redone. I will probably take it to the machine shop some time next month.

idk what the exact specs are. but ill list the aftermarket
--non-jet valve head with arp bolts at 99,000 miles with topend street cam
--K-N filter with mass airflow sensor upgrade
--aftermarket boost gauge
--upgraded detonation sensor(brand im not sure of)
--Bosch High flow fuel pump
--Bosch Ignition red coil
--turbo timer
--halmeter
--Chrome Hard pipes for intercooler
--Racing Blow off Valve(installed after the pic, not sure why i got it since the other aftermarket i got is louder)
--Boost controller(not a real nice one)
--Rising rate fuel pressure regulator
--T3/T4 Hybrid turbo with 3 wire O2 sensor putting out about 15-25lbs depending on what fuel im running at the time
-- upgraded wastegate(was getting flutter with the stock)
--antilock brake elimination kit
--upgraded to an 1989 ecu(someone told me to, i still to this day have yet to figure out why the 89 is better)
--Upgrade new105a gm alternator

all the ones that pop up for sale around here are broke or too expensive lol. Don't see too many in the junkyards either so I would think parts aren't the cheapest, and I love me some cheap

Yeah, finding one that's worth doing work on is hard. Especially for cheap money. I've seen a couple here and there but they were all a little pricey.

Love the Starions. Was looking for one about ten years ago as a daily driver but they were either worn out, rusty or holding good value, ie to expensive for me at that time.

Is the 2.6 the Astron motor? All the ones I've seen in Aus have the 4g63 single cam motor or a twin cam conversion.

The aussies only got it with the 4g63 motor. Japan had two different motors depending on model. The us got the 2.6L g54b motor. And I think europe got the same two motors that japan got.
